You’d be forgiven for missing this with everything happening, but the US left the Paris Agreement this week.
If Joe Biden does win the election, I hope that one of his first acts is to rejoin the other 189 countries who are committed to climate action.

If the Paris Agreement were serious about change, the goals would be for THIS year. No international deal that sets a "goal" later than RIGHT NOW is anything more than a person who every day says "I'll start eating healthy tomorrow!" See: the Outer Space Treaty v Space Force.
