One last film post for today. This Japanese film (the director is German - Wim Wenders) follows a man who cleans toilets for a living. He is clearly overqualified, but you don’t know why. But he focuses on his task with minute attention. He spends his off time with photography

Well, we did it - 6am to 9.30pm, encompassing 6 services, 17 psalms, about 5 degrees centigrade, and an awful lot of square notes. Our monastic forebears were clearly made of stern stuff! Back to normal tomorrow with Choral Evensong at 6pm 😄
