How do we engage with the vast majority of people that don't have any experience with farming? . I really enjoyed the opportunity to share our farm's story during seeding this spring, and how we are working to bridge this gap. Canadian Food Focus did an amazing job on this video

Actions matter more than words. The federal government has made a series of choices that impact farmers across Western Canada. What can they do about it - and what are they willing to do?. We delve into all that in my interview with @realloudlyndsey on @realagriculture.
Tune in to #RealAgWeekend tomorrow at 2 pm in Alta. on @QRCalgary @CHED880! Host @ShaunHaney is joined by @JakeLeguee of @SaskWheat, Leigh-Ann Harder of @BASF and Don Close of @TerrainAg! #cdnag #ontag #westcdnag!

China’s canola tariffs show how Ottawa’s choices can cripple Canadian agriculture. Canola is almost ready for harvest. Our costs are all in. Profit margin is now likely gone. We need the government of Canada to step up with a solution.

Very frustrating and disappointing to see the minimal representation of the west in the new Ag Committee. Western Canada needs more than 1 of the 10 seats on such an important committee.
