Ohio's sales tax break for data centers is now also a sales tax break for natural gas plants owned by data centers. The incentive, saved by Gov. DeWine's veto pen, is another subsidy for an industry that could swamp the electric grid with new demand.

New: Ohio, thanks to $1 million in the state budget, is rolling out software that will listen in on, transcribe and analyze "all" inmate phone calls to look for criminal evidence. This comes after lobbying from LeoTech, a vendor selling the software

Wild stuff:. CDC reports that 85 people, aged 1-91, became victims of an accidental "mass THC intoxication event via food.". A WI pizza shop ran out of oil and asked the co-op next door to borrow some. The co-op mixed up their standard and *special* oil.
