Something that (sort of) works well in our favor is that the rest of the SBC was raided in the portal as well. It’s truly wide open. I think we’ll see a lot of new faces for essentially all teams make some impacts.

The portal certainly wounded us but the additions/guys waiting in the wings will be good. I’m particularly excited to see how Caldwell will do at LB; IMO, he’s the next guy to break out.

I have some questions at defense, especially with the spring window losses, but Myrick staying is huge. I liked our secondary adds (Henderson will be elite), and the d-line should be up to par. Still, I think it might be like the ‘24 defense. Might start slow, but it’ll improve.

Personally, I think that our offense will be excellent. Bishop at QB, Kentrel + other RBs in the backfield, Voisin and Jenkins at WR, and the improve o-line will be electric. TE is interesting but I think Long and McCrumby will be good there, same with Thomas.

Leading the conference in football GSR is a great thing, and our APR continues to improve. Have to give a shoutout to our coaches, athletic department and professors for cultivating an environment like this.
