I feel like old vintage stuff has more characters and passion put into it. Back then people really built something with love & care. Today it's mostly mass production, cheap cost. Inflation sucks! Now it's all about making as much profits rather than out of love & passion.

I just knew that windsurf was once called codeium! Used it when they were super early, as vscode extension cuz it's free unlike GitHub copilot, then I stopped cuz it sucked. Haven't looked back since.
Sucks for anyone who joined Windsurf the last 12 months. Also: we can say that Windsurf as a company and product is 99% dead in 12 months. Enterprise customers should move off ASAP: this company will go likely bankrupt in that much time (hard/impossible to raise more funding).

One big benefit I see from using LLM for programming is the UI part. It can be highly time consuming and frustrating trying to get the UI looks like the actual design on your own. Now I can focus on the hard part of the coding handling complex logic and integration.
