Abusive bosses don't drive performance. They undermine it. 471 studies, 149k people, 36 countries: in aggressive workplaces, we do poorer work, collaborate less, and shirk more. Incivility breaks confidence and breeds resentment. The best way to get results is to show respect.

I can't believe how easy it was to add Stripe payments to my https://t.co/JOXjIKlO1O meeting types. Like, five clicks!? What is this UX sorcery, @Cal?🤯

Being a long time advocate that "100% test coverage" is NOT EQUAL to "thoroughly tested"!

Strictly speaking, TDD "tests" aren't very good tests. They are really examples of how you intend to use the code—more specification than test. However, when I'm doing TDD, I also write many additional tests that aren't strictly part of the TDD process, and I do that as I'm

Liz has taken over the @honeycombio LinkedIn account thisweek. 🥰 Here she is talking about our Friday deploy practices. Yes, we deploy on Fridays, even before long holiday weekends. But we ask engineers to land their diffs an hour before they log off. https://t.co/NrnNwuoWnV

Periodic reminder that "tests passing for a feature/subsystem" is NOT EQUAL to "whole system functions correctly". Please, please, please! WE NEED MORE SKILLED TESTERS! #testing #quality #ai

@unclebobmartin @allenholub @jeremdow @AGYAN01 A story describes a problem the the intended user has. A user wants to use our app to accomplish some goal. No one ever has this goal: "I want to log in to this app." I never met a person who would say "great, now that I've logged in, I've accomplished my goal!"
