Also hearing the score (especially during the final scenes of the Hamlet play), it sounds a lot like the score from Arrival. Wouldn’t be surprised if it was the same composer

yup & i often sound like i’m anti-AI (i mean i kinda am, esp genAI) but i think my issue with it is basically this: AI companies are overplaying their hand in order to justify themselves, to the detriment of everyone else. it can be a useful tool but not in the way *they* say so
Honestly, Ben Affleck actually knowing AI and the landscape caught me off guard, but as a writer, makes sense. Great takes across the board.

When we say media illiteracy, we need to specify that the "literacy" we are losing includes the ability to: 1. recognize mediation 2. discern irony (tone, framing) 3. separate effect from "intention" All of these have to do with being able to read FORM.
