Very happy to share our perspective piece on how linguistics may help improve the interpretability of protein language models. https://t.co/UFydYda8cr. Great collab with the @SandveGeir and Dag Haug labs. Project led by the super talented @MaiSpaceHa. Tweetorial in 🧵below.
Happy to share my first preprint in the Immunolingo project “Advancing protein language models with linguistics: a roadmap for improved interpretability”, a perspective on adapting LMs for protein sequences with the help of linguistic knowledge. https://t.co/5U1nzoYdR5

We just released CompAIRR – a tool that reduces greatly the longstanding computational bottleneck of identifying shared identical and similar sequences among large sets of immune repertoires. All the details/links are in the thread below. Feedback is very welcome! @airr_community
We are happy to report a dramatic speedup for one of the core computations for adaptive immune receptor repertoire (AIRR) analysis - the discovery and counting of receptors that overlap between repertoires! Check out our CompAIRR method: https://t.co/U5Sn442upv 1/7
