Found this tiger beetle (& many more) on the beach (Ellipsoptera lepida?). I’ve visited this beach my whole entire life and have never seen these beetles here. What’s changed? The city implemented a dune restoration project. Used to be flat barren sand. Habitat restoration #FTW

Yes I started an @inaturalist project at the @COREBorneo Tuanan orangutan research station in indonesia. It has been so great to gather observations in a place where collections are difficult bc humidity (90%), temp, & electricity.

A class in aesthetics and design now thanks to Lacey Restemyer from @hmns. Demonstrating balance and symmetry is key in creating a visually appealing and engaging display. #ECN2024
