"Triceratops ate plants, so it was harmless!" Harmless like a rhino, hippo, bison, elephant, buffalo, bull, etc... It's only harmless because it's been dead for millions of years. Otherwise, it would dismantle you six ways from Sunday before you could scream. Metal π€

it's all about surface area, exposure, extraction, etc. Ground coffee exposes more of the beans' surface area to the hot water. The hot water and increased surface area helps extract more of the beans' oil (flavor) into the water. The agitation ensures complete extraction! Mmm!
