Precisely the reason why I am not overly dejected about our impending cultural extinction. If only a few of us make the effort of maintaining an active connection with her today, she will reclaim Kashmir for us the day after, if not tomorrow. Our high culture will flower again.

I agree. There's so much more to be grateful for despite all the uphill battles that we've faced. If we appreciate the enormous power of Her blessings, and get back to Her sadhana, it is not too late for us do a course-correction. In that way I'm an optimist.

Here KP society which is growing has to safeguard its Shaivite-Kaula traditions, sacred texts and Sharada script. Rest will follow.

Reclamation would've been ez if* the Kashmiri Hindus and Kashmiri Sikhs had taken the right decisions ( maybe basic post Afghan rule ).
Merely relying upon the deity cannot guarantee success unless the Believer themselves takes up the Sword like Shivaji Maharaj or Rana Pratap.

from UP but my heart cries out for kashmiri pandits. their homeland whichj was once the paradise of high art, culture , most exotic sculpture, richest literature is now turned into hellhole of terrorism. may Goddess Sharika bhawani bless her children to reclaim their homeland

By us are you referring to KPs? I think a majority of Hindus are going to suffer from this. I hope that such a situation never arrives, but there may come a time when Hinduism might get reduced to pockets(as in people who actually practice Hinduism not just a Hindu name)
