@Temmzvolley But isn’t the true goal of sports to demonstrate that even in the most deprived or underdeveloped countries, the spirit of the game can still shine through? Sports should not only be about modern facilities and comfort but also about resilience, inclusivity, and the idea that

Criticisms are valid. Organizers must take it constructively and improve. But I hope there’s a way that those who don’t want to play here, won’t come here. I prefer seeing teams that actually enjoy playing here.

it is true that there's a lot of room for improvement for the organizers and that Araneta's facilities are lacking. they deserve to be called out for this. however, saying that you hope the next major tournaments will be held in other parts of the world is insensitive.

literally same two cents on this lol. ifl the latter statement couldve been kept to himself. imagine if i were a polska fan & been wanting to see my favorite players play in my home country only for them to wish that they don’t play here again 🥲

@DrackzM it's still a tactless statement. they can point out the shortcomings without making the Host feel like they don't deserve to host again. and lastly, this doesn't define him or the team. i'm sure there is good in them, but this time they said something unpleasant.
