After my Hamnet screening, I told my friend that my favorite acting moment from Jessie was when...... she smiled in the end 😭 tender, loving, heartreaking, and tragic rolled into one soft smile.
Jessie Buckley does have big moments but they feel apt given the context. And this just blatantly ignores the whole finale where she is pretty much only acting with her eyes and responding to what’s on stage in front of her. To me it’s a great showcase of big and soft.
