@jem_zero @ungodlywolfe I think it's misconstruing Rapunzel's character to frame it as him taking her autonomy. Her character is selfless meaning she would 100% give up her freedom to save Eugene. Him cutting off her hair isn't taking her autonomy it's give her freedom back to her.

Trans people are still in danger in many places in the country, the only difference is trans people have platforms now to show community. So I believe the correct way to put it is society isn’t more accepting /1.
