I am encouraged that many people are working on creative/alternative investment strategies and solutions to bring AI advancement to SMBs (including the AI roll-up companies mentioned in the Newcomer newsletter today).

I discussed this strategy over the last 6 weeks with some in my trusted network, and I am amazed by the response, which includes interest in working together / collaborating, and curiosity about new investment and software business models.

Unshackled Flex will introduce enablement through a software/AI layer (in addition to solving for immigration). The goal remains the same - amplify a founder's time for more creative work, less operative stuff.

...which brought together capital + immigration + employment to remove a friction for founders on visas. The new strategy (Unshackled Flex) is building an alternative to venture capital for businesses that don't fit the VC template.

When Trump was sworn in, Elon Musk's corporations were under more than 32 investigations conducted by at least 11 federal agencies. Most of the cases are now closed or likely to be closed soon, and the federal agencies are being defanged by DOGE. Funny how that works, huh?

No matter what your views are on Israel & Palestine, you should be terrified of a country incarcerating its residents for exercising free speech. Mr. Khalil is not accused of violating any law. He is illegally detained by the Trump Administration. He must be released.
