Thanks to @daveramaswamy and to @im_1776 The Federal bloat and the incompetence it nurtures must be cauterized. If we don't shrink the Federal government down to size we will lose this Republic. We do not want to go the way of Weimar Germany. https://t.co/niHrPvsDTh

Two years ago, I wrote an article about how Rex Whistler should be regarded as one of Britains greatest artists of the past century. Unfortunately, his work is maligned as “racist”, and hidden away from the public. Worth a revisit: https://t.co/ucuWIfZV9d @im_1776

I found myself thinking a lot about the future of young men recently. I was inspired to discover just how passionately Charlie Kirk dedicated his life to give them direction, so I wrote a list of 20 rules for healthy masculinity, inspired by his legacy 🧵

"America was built by hand, fought for beliefs, and created from direct experience. The soldiers, farmers, craftsmen, and explorers who built it understood that value comes from creating tangible goods and services, not from writing reports about them."

Good, long article that links withdrawal from the gold standard to the explosion of what the authors call "fiat experts" - people with degrees but little or no hands-on experience in the domains they "manage." It provides many examples of how that hasn't worked well. Tidbit:

This article from @realErikDPrince perfectly captures what I've been writing about regarding character this year—only at the political level, not the cultural. When ideas aren't backed by experience, they're just abstractions. Politics, like Culture, needs to return to the field.

As a recovering Fallen Catholic, the work in The Culture Stone, by @markgranza reads like a chance at redemption. As an artist he is visceral, sharp, and here at his best.
