@theo Yes. We got news our startup was being acquired 5 days before my one year cliff. I thought I’d get nothing. Our shares were accelerated to 100%. It was a life changing event and I’ll always appreciate that our founders did the right thing for us at Parse.

Have super angels gone extinct? Everyone I'd have put in that category 5-10 years ago is now investing on behalf of LPs in some form or another. And I can't name a very prolific angel doing it out of their own checking account.

Many, many ways in which the Meta+AI reboot seems very similar to FB+mobile over a decade prior. One difference: very few (if any?) existence proofs out there of great products focused on entertainment & communication. Everything that's working is utilitarian.
