timkon being canon anytime soon would doom Kon for centuries to come. I get that most timkoners DGAF abt Kon but plsβ¦β¦ spare the boyβ¦. Kons alr not utilised anywhere in canon & is so centred around Tim in fanon. donβt doom canon Kon to the hell fanon Kon is in. spare a kon.

the speaker interprets the story correctly but then pivots towards a very specific interpretation to fit that view and i wholeheartedly disagree with it. carol's identity is important to the story but the speaker is weaponizing that identity to suit a very particular narrative.

also, while carol is away, manousos is still working on saving the world; he wasn't waiting for carol's permission to try to free the others once he finally arrived in albuquerque. he has skepticism and actively calls carol out on her behavior defending the others.

the use of culturally diverse survivors is a tool used by the narrative to show how our individualism is still tied to our cultures and communities, not to center on carol's role as the protagonist or the "white savior" pov that the video is claiming.

+but that is not because of her being the white savior. her misunderstanding of non-white cultures is a result of her lack of knowledge in international culture and her own trauma growing up. her identity is important but does not provide a catch-all for the white savior trope.
