I've finally got around to getting gym membership again. After not gyming much in the pandemic, losing like 16kg (and muscle in the process), moving to the NL and then having a hernia I've put off signing up but it's time to work back towards these arms 😇

They asked about work/life balance & whether I work overtime/weekends. I replied with how I think it's important to only work for yourself, not demands of others & give yourself time off too. They replied back with "slay!"

So good news, I've got a new apartment lined up for the start of March. Brand new build, 5th floor, balcony. In the Professor's District of Leiden which feels nice and apt. It's unfurnished so I need to buy everything for it but I'm super excited.

After 13 months of sewing, 26,000 stitches and almost a kilometre of thread I've finally finished my stitch of Durin's Gate from Lord of the Rings.
I'm so happy with it. This started as a hobby to control my anxiety after moving abroad, and has manifest as beautiful art.
