My dad retired yesterday from 40 years of service in the NHS and teaching advanced life support. There's so many incredible things I could say about my dad but I'm going to tell you all a wee story.

I’m too emotional to say anything of substance, just know that I love the Maccabees so damn much and to see them again live was an absolute treat that I will never forget. Hopefully they’ll stick around for a while because the joy they bring is incomparable.

It’s been 8 years since I last saw @themaccabees, for what I thought would be the last time, but that all changes tonight. This band have been a constant source of happiness for almost 20 years. To say I’m excited for their return, would be a huge understatement 🥹

Planted a basket full of wild flower seeds in march and I’ve eagerly been watching them, waiting for them to bloom. My dad was round today and went to water them… he’s informed me I’ve actually been growing wheat 😭.
