Such a pleasure to feel the palpable energy and passion among world leaders in their support for proven social protection solutions to fight poverty and hunger. Achieving our collective ambition to reach 500 million people with social protection by 2030 feels within our reach.

Exciting announcement today on our expanded ambition to tackle poverty & global hunger. As Ajay said: “Put simply: hunger and poverty are intertwined. We need to take them on and work hard to rid our world of both.” Together with countries and partners, we can achieve this.
