Check out commentary in @BiologicalPsyc1 discussing studies that predict youth depression from a large array of variables! Results from consortia such as IMAGEN, ABCD, & @enigmabrains narrow the parameter space & guide the design of smaller n studies πŸ’«

As per previous literature, we found specific symptoms to be associated with CRP and IL-6, but not categorical diagnosis or dimensional assessment. We believe this further reinforces the importance of specific symptom analysis in psychoneuroimmunology

2nd time IDEA @tbmrocha et al 2021 has been cited as 1 of v few to externally validate risk prediction models in diff. socioeconomic contexts, exemplifying the crucial need for ⬆️ research across LMICs who bare the brunt of the global mental health crisis.

Lucky to have worked on @idea_mq with @ckieling, who details the key message of the @TheLancet @WPA_Psychiatry commission on #depression: early intervention, ⬆️ intensity if required but personalised - never lose sight of the individual or diverse range of experience.
