On Wednesday, 8th April, my wife of thirty two years, Maureen O’Donovan, passed away. I’ve written about it here. Sorry it’s very long but it was a very long marriage.

I am 63. In my entire life, under administrations of various political persuasions, you could always get back by train to Edinburgh after a Scotland game at Hampden. Now you can’t. That’s the price of an administration who’s only policy is hating English people.
