Yet more ineptitude from @British_Airways . Luggage still not delivered despite being with the courier for delivery to the hotel today. Call handlers don’t care, and the customer service is non existent. The nation’s favourite airline?? National embarrassment more like.

Absolutely fiasco from @British_Airways who decided to leave half the cases at Heathrow on the 0740 flight to Bologna and their website for tracking lost luggage is unable to update or save information. Absolutely disgusted with the nation’s favourite airline 🤬

A privilege to host the RNLI President, HRH The Duke of Kent yesterday at the Historic Lifeboat Collection. The boats all looked stunning, testament to the hard work of the volunteer team there and a fanastic collaborative relationship with @DockyardChatham
Our President, HRH The Duke of Kent, visited our Historic Lifeboat Collection @DockyardChatham The Duke was shown 3 of our most iconic lifeboats, which between them have saved more than 300 lives at sea, & a feature showcasing 21 years of our Lifeguard Service. @RoyalFamily

On the way back South after a lovely week away. Chewed up and spat out by Ironman Bolton 70.3. Finished but huge cramping issues scuppered a decent time. Then onto the Lakes for some down time with Mrs S

Today I should be in Cervia with great friends preparing for Ironman Italy on Saturday. Covid-19 meant a deferral to 2022. Disappointing but inconsequential when so many have lost their lives fighting this pandemic. I will live to fight another day, they weren’t so lucky 😢
