HMRC hasn't charged a single company under the Criminal Finances Act 2017 enacted to crack down on corporate tax evasion. Since 2010 £450bn-£1,500bn tax not collected. Govt will snoop on the bank accounts of OAPs & benefit claimants. Not on tax dodgers. https://t.co/ObAHzy1gF5

This is, I admit, a long thread. But it explains why the government is needlessly giving £18 billion or more a year to the biggest banks in the UK when it is claiming there is no money for essential services and pay rises. I also change. So that has to be worth a read......

There is what might be described as an unfortunate side effect to the Bank of England’s policy of raising interest rates. It is that the UK’s main High Street banks might be paid £18 billion this year for sitting on money that the government quite literally gave them. A thread….

In 2016 the Conservatives privatised the part of the NHS that provided Cover Staff, quietly and with no consultation. Now Agencies earn £8bn and make at least £500m, for staff that would have cost £2bn before.

Remember that voter fraud doesn’t exist, and that Voter ID is intended only to prevent people from voting. If you don’t have Voter ID register for postal voting so you won’t need it. RT to let everyone know.

Britain has no history of voter fraud and little evidence of any serious unidentified issue. But the Tories do want to make it as hard for young people and those on low incomes to vote so let’s call this fascism in action, because that’s what it is

🚨 NEW 🚨 #PMQs Fact Check Rishi Sunak acts like the country hasn't watched the Tories commit medical fraud for years. But the Tory corruption and cronysm in PPE procurement during Covid was so pervasive, the PM cannot pretend to be shocked about it MUST WATCH @Femi_Sorry

In 2023 the government will voluntarily pay more than £30bn to banks on money effectively gifted to them by the QE process. Inflation matching pay rises for public sector workers would cost £28bn and are being refused. Why does the government prefer bankers to essential workers?

This is such a powerful video… So simple So much sense The Tories know this too But they also know that it’s the millionaires & billionaires who donate to them that keep them in power …and the sad truth is, that’s who they really work for.
