One of the fastest ways to kill your productâs business model is offering a non-capped lifetime license or unlimited usage at a low price. Good at start to attract people but very bad long term. Kills revenue. When you eventually wake up and try to fix the pricingâŚ

In a world where tools are abundant and execution is cheap, clarity is the real bottleneck. We all can now spin up code, generate designs, or ship an MVP. Very few can explain what theyâre building, why it matters, what problem it truly solves, and how the pieces fit together.

Confession time: I have never bought a single unit of any AI tool tokens. I have never also used any other Generative Assistant as assistant coder asides Grok. Which grok? The free one right inside X. You only burn tokens when you are less technical or lack domain knowledge.

âcan't replace domain knowledge or human decision-makingâ đŻ agreed. Flip side, presence of domain/technical knowledge and human decision-making is the only path to manifesting the right business logic at scale. When you have the above, the said boilerplates will be catalysts.
Bad news: AI coding tools don't work for business logic or with existing code, and can't replace domain knowledge or human decision-making. They're just good for boilerplate and simple, repetitive tasks. AGI is not at hand. https://t.co/GoMnXNVnWJ

Also, while trying to make them stay. The important thing to actually carter for and ensure you ask is why they choose to leave. Because if thatâs not fixed, then you will end up giving away many more 6months as a retention strategy which will eventually churn out.

With what we are building, Contract becomes stateful workflows with programmable behavior from on set and not the other way round done by existing players who begin cycles from PDFs. This position our software as a full Contract Lifecycle System, not just another document tool.
Getting myself worked up on achieving the right re-sign logic and flow for @contentractcom was a bit challenging but fun. Compliance is very crucial and our approach to Contract Lifecycle Management is so unique and I am happy to set a new path to what CLMs will be henceforth.âď¸

Signs of a Great Senior Backend Engineer: 1. Thinks in systems, not just endpoints 2. Designs for failure before it happens 3. Writes boring, predictable code on purpose 4. Cares more about correctness than cleverness 5. Knows when not to add a new service 6. Understands

Bad retention strategy on price slash cos it means it was never worth more and if such slash should happen, the justification must be very solid to not make the product trash all along. Again, maybe it wasnât worth more than $3.

From $40 to $5? đ 6months is too generous and risky IMO. Except the said user has a huge $ spent with them already. Duration should bring based on how much spent and user age cos one need to factor the infinite leak if more users does same to get 6months and still leave after.
Nothing funnier than paying $39.99/mo for a software. Then go to cancel the subscription⌠And get hit with âstay for 6 months at only $4.99/moâ

One of the biggest red flags for me when I am pitched is when the entrepreneur talks about how he (or we) are going to make money. Or they talk about exits. Or they talk about how a competitor is worth $1 billion. None of that matters. A startup is a mission. A great entrepreneur

As of August, I quoted someone who was relying on the âMake it exist first, perfect laterâ narrative. The whole startup space is more brutal now than ever. AI has placed everyone on their toes and only an ideal differentiation will win the race cos the bar has been raised.

This has always been my stance as a founder cos itâs no more the usual âmake it exist first, perfect laterâ. Itâs even more important in a world where AI is now a leverage. Building right with all important stuff is non negotiable where there are existing competitors.
BUILD THE WHOLE PRODUCT If you're a startup CEO, you should think deeply about what Frank Slootman says : "Build the Whole Product, or solve the Whole Problem as fast as you can". In 2026, the biggest winners will be companies who realize that fragmented experiences don't serve

Isn't it a disgraceful attitude on the side of government that Nigerians cannot truly understand the context or be properly educated on the new tax policies they have imposed on the citizens? And what was the benefit of the past taxes weâve been paying indirectly before now?

The silly tax this guy called president is introducing is to have us fund his 2027 election so heâll have enough to pass around or what? Yet, Nigerians still act like itâs nothing, no push back by now. Tomorrow being 1st, which ought to be another chance to fight. Zero efforts.
