How to make the perfect sub bass: Init serum with a sine wave wavetable Ableton saturator set to soft sine Drive between 7-9 That’s it. Most of your midi notes should be between C1 and C0 your piano roll. Sub fundamental should hit between roughly 30hz and 75hz 🫶🏻

The key to super saws is don’t over do it! One really wide fairly de tuned layer (add some width using an Ableton utility or stereo imager) and then one mostly mono, slightly de tuned layer. And that’s plenty! Add some eq to reduce the lows (especially in the sides) and ur done

I’ve found the practice of “morning pages” to be immensely helpful in clearing my mind and preparing me for a day of focused creative work. After writing down my thoughts for a couple of pages, my mind is much more clear and staying focused is a lot easier!

I get asked often how I get my pads & atmospheres so full & clean at the same time. One of the main tools that I use is mid-side EQing. Try a steep low cut filter (on the sides) around 100-200hz and then a big dip reducing frequencies between 100 - 500hz 🤝🏼

Pursuing any dream or goal can be daunting. It certainly has been for me. Consistency is the key to success. You’d be amazed at how much even just 30 minutes every single day can do long term. It turns music production (or whatever you’re pursuing) into a rock solid habit
