I love this, and I would expand on this by saying, even someone you respect giving you some words of wisdom don’t mean much at the time, if ur lucky they’ll be a little beacon of hope when the real meaning becomes self evident to you.
@killthenoise Advice isn't valid. That's why people instictually don't want it. Advice comes from another person's perspective, which will never fit anyone else but that person. To live is to observe & learn for yourself because no one can give you helpful advice. Life is your only teacher.

Here’s one. you can’t squeeze anymore time out of an experience, all people places and things included. you can only be in it when it happens. regret comes from realizing this too late. but it’s the only way to learn.

No one wants advice, people wanna bond over discovering for themselves the deep wisdom behind every cliche. there are no new observations on life. they only become real to the observer and once they are truly felt they become more and more true.

My advice is you sever the connection when it becomes content for social media. it becomes aesthetic, it becomes performative. my advice is to recognize that the process is one of many ways to tap in. you can achieve the same thing playing dark souls in your underwear.
