Still Stelco is planning to build a fossil fuel power station in Male'. Just absurd. Male' is congested already. An offshore RE power station is feasible and a much cheaper long term option. Power stations do not have to be next door.

A proper public transport system is needed before the whole of Male becomes a car/motorcycle park. 1/2 the road space is taken by parked vehicles. The current bus service is not really an alternative to private transport. With proper thought a solution is possible.
