Only ever had HFC/FTTN @NBN_Australia until a few days ago when I upgraded to "full fibre" #FTTP the low latency of fibre is amazing, the additional speed to handy, but the responsive of #EVERYTHING# is impressive. Finally giving my full @Ubiquiti #UNIFI #UDMPRO a solid workout!.

It's #FullFibre @NBN_Australia #NBN install day today here in #Adelaide (upgrade from #VDSL #FTTN) I couldn't find the measurements for the internal NBN Connection Box, so here they are as of July 7th 2025. (I had a licensed contractor prewire my own internal cable path.

Took a decent tumble in the early hours of yesterday morning, I've got to find a better way of falling if that's what I'm going to keep doing. I can't sit right now due to pain, it's a pain in the arse! (literally!).

Heard a decent car crash Monday morning (didn't see it) being "hard coded" to help, my training kicked in, everyone walked away, but all the drivers weren't in the headspace to do the practical things at the start, so I assisted by getting all 3 emergency services to scene.
Couldn't sleep so at 05:30 this morning headed over to my old house to sort out somethings. Turns out I was needed, decent 3 car crash right on the cnr, I was first on scene and because I was a St John Cadet & occupational first aid experience I have scene mgt experience, 1/.

the scene prior to emergency services arriving. No one was transported, but lots of car damage. 3/3.

No panic, not even any adrenaline, calm approach with first aid kit in hand, primary survey, call to 000, to get all three emergency services on scene and help co-ordinate a bit of chaos as the three walking wooded drivers needed some guidance to focus as I stabilised 2/.
