Getting a 1 mill mortgage on 200k combined gross income is so financially reckless itโs crazy. Youโd probably be spending more than 50% of your take home on mortgage payments which is significantly more than recommended. This isnโt realistic
2 individuals both earning ยฃ100k gross can access mortgage finance of circa ยฃ1 million. Even without a deposit - I think thatโs just about enough to buy an okay home, even in London! ๐คฃ
