Omnishambles aside, how does this even work? Surely some have passed their clinical exams and have been legitimately using their MRCP titles, have been working in training posts requiring MRCPs…. And that is just in the UK…. And then the question is how far back can this go? 😮.
Just seen this - unacceptable @MRCPUK that this error occurring in 2023 has (a) happened at all and (b) was only flagged up in 2025. No wonder our trainees are in so much despair. This is a another kick in the teeth. I hope the federation fix this shambles ASAP.

Bears out in clinical practice, even in paediatric settings and pubertal induction. We favour transdermal preparations so much that we forget some of our patients do much better with other routes eg oral. Have had to swap quite a few patients now esp with hypothalamic obesity.
Our study has just been published in Menopause journal which is a peer reviewed academic journal. This study is based in clinical data from over 1,500 women who were perimenopausal or menopausal. It showed that absorption of oestradiol through the skin through a patch or gel

In today’s NHS climate it almost always seems wrong to say you love your job. But tonight’s carol concert with @SUCCESS_Charity, a charity very close to my heart dedicated to childhood brain tumour survivors, reminded me what a privilege it is to care for them.
