If governments are genuinely wondering what to do next - and what will have impact - they should focus on and fund the upscaling of this work with children. It’s long overdue. Recovery is prevention. We owe these kids the support they need to thrive & meet their full potential.
One thing I will point out about addressing violence against women, is that there is not enough (none?) attention on resolving the trauma of child and youth victims. Intervene here. Break the cycle.
