No one is taxing you at 50%, Michelle. That rate only exists for people earning $250–300k+, and only on their highest dollars. Crying about losing half of an income you don’t have is just performance. You’re not oppressed Michelle, you’re just role-playing you are.
Imagine paying half of what you make to taxes. The government just keeps taking more and more all while infrastructure and our Healthcare system is failing. We pay more but get less. This is what you are voting for when you vote Liberal.

True story. My brother-in-law suddenly lost his vision after retiring. His family doctor had retired and couldn’t see him advised him to go to the ER in Durham Region. ER ordered a CT scan. Found a pituitary brain tumor. Referred him to a surgeon at St. Michael’s in Toronto.

SOME PEOPLE mistake loyalty to Canada with loyalty to government. It’s not the same. It’s a critically important distinction. You may not support the Liberal government. But there’s no excuse for siding with a foreign adversary acting against the interests of Canadians.
