I had the privilege of training under him and operating with him while at MDACC. Great surgeon, even better guy outside the OR. He was a legend and will be missed. His impact on so many lives and so many trainees is immeasurable.

@KidneyCancer Big loss for #uros #uroonc & @MDAndersonNews. Gifted surgeon and amazing career and feel privileged to have trained with him. Although I learned many things kidney from him, he also taught me how to do a Wallace anastomosis. RIP Dr. Wood.
