A very simple solution
People keep arguing about the best way to eliminate property taxes. The most common question is how do you “replace the revenue?” I don’t want to replace it. I want the #txlege and government entities to SPEND LESS!

Since 2019, Texas has collected 459.6 billion dollars in property taxes, some of that likely in excess. Roughly 50% of property taxes come from school taxes. Texas is the 5th highest State on property tax rates. We were promised that would go away...has it?
