2/ At an event in Windhoek today, #SPHIRHA was officially launched w/national stakeholders. Ms. @eeharleman, Head of Dev. Cooperation for regional sexual & reproductive health &rights strategy in Africa, delivered remarks reaffirming Sweden’s continued support for SRHR in region.

Namibia is one of 5 countries participating in Strengthening Public Health Institutional Capacity for Sexual & Reproductive Health & Rights (#SPHIRHA) project, funded by @Sida, which addresses teenage pregnancy through improved data collection. #SPHIRHA will run from 2024 - 2028.

The evening’s performances embodied the🇺🇳in motion.OYO Dance Troupe delivered a stirring interpretation of Pablo Casals’ Hymn to the United Nations and “a picassiana dance”,weaving stories of freedom & inclusion. Their movements mirrored🇳🇦’s resilience -from struggle to renewal.
