EIGHTEEN MONTHS into my campaign. The proposal to add a swift brick requirement to Building Regulations is ready, approved & recommended by ALL experts. Without swift bricks there’s no guaranteed nesting habitat for swifts&there never will be. The govt CAN give them a future. ⏳

We went fossil hunting at Barton on Sea, New Forest yesterday and my 8yo daughter found this. Anyone out there who’s able to confirm if it’s a fossil bone and if so, what it might be from? Please RT #fossil #prehistoric #palaeontology

Back again. With my #swift brick which is now known by most of the security guards in the Houses of Parliament. ‘Oh it’s ok. That’s the swift brick woman and that’s her swift brick,’ they say to any suspicious colleagues yet to meet me and the brick 🧱 ‘she’s here all the time’

This is the Japanese Puffer Fish - one of #nature's greatest artists. To grab a female’s attention he creates something that defies belief. Nature is more amazing than we will ever know. Protect it in all its forms. #ActOnClimate #climate #energy #rewilding #biodiversity

Patrick Vallance, now chair of natural History Museum, giving @CSciPol lecture. Impressed by excellent account of climate change and biodiversity science and policy. Even mentioned how decline of horseshoe crabs affects migrating red knot, who feed on crab eggs.

Resightings of colour-ringed Waxwings have been pouring in over the holidays! Always interesting to see how birds filter south through the country as the winter progresses and berries run out in the north - check out their movements! @_BTO

Sad to learn that Benjamin Zephaniah has died. He was always so kind and generous to me... to so very many people. Loved making this with Benjamin. "I need more trees please I think more nature would be greater so what if we made more space for nature"
