I worked with Jiyoung Yoo AKA Zoey on her very first professional play back when she was still in undergrad. Even back then we knew she was special. And with that all-female cast play, she posted this picture (she's on the left) calling them a "girl group." Like how did she know?

Pointing out when art is terrible is probably the critic's least important task. Anyone can see/hear art & make that determination on their own. Rather I would prefer a critic that could help people understand art better so they might experience difficult work with more context.
We need more theater critics. More food critics. Architecture critics. Movie critics. People who have studied a subject and aren’t afraid to point out when art is terrible instead of just “creating content.”.

You don't even need to be fluent in a language to hold a conversation. They literally call it conversational English when you're not fluent but can hold a conversation in English. This is gatekeeping a basic everyday activity for no reason.

Why billionaires should be taxed higher: If billionaires are unwilling to take care of their workers, then it falls on the government to do that for them. So who should pay for that? Yes the billionaires who caused this & are refusing to pay their workers more in the first place.
