As the institution that produced deeply harmful jurists like John Roberts, Neil Gorsuch, and more, @Harvard_Law owes its students (and the world we hope to improve) more than the bare minimum. 3/3

This school has 0 repro justice profs, but 21 law & econ profs 🙄 We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from the incredible @michelebgoodwin, who is visiting this semester. But post-Dobbs, the absolute least HLS can do is hire a full time, tenure-track repro prof. 2/3

That’s funny, @harvard_law, we think the best place to start is to hire a faculty member who shares the same interests as our organization, as we’ve demanded for 10+ years. Repro rights & repro justice are not the same & neither of these profs specializes in even the former. 1/3

6/ Because apparently, to @harvard_law, the only thing that can stop a good guy with some chalk is a cop with a gun. Admin brought out hoses to wash away the messages within 30 minutes.

5/ Today, students replaced the messages. Again with chalk. Nothing obscene/profane/threatening. They were immediately met with surveillance by campus security, threats from the office of “Community Engagement Equity and Belonging,” and eventually the presence of armed police.

🧵1/ On Monday, @Harvard_Law students participated in the years long tradition of DisOrientation. This event is designed every year with love by an anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, and anti-carceral collective of students to tell the history of HLS that administration avoids.

Inspired by these future reproductive Justice warriors at @Harvard_Law who spoke passionately tonight @ City Council. They’re fighting to ensure they have access to a reproductive justice professor, curriculum & clinic! Read more about their work here: https://t.co/ruprJGEtLM

Did you know that students went on strike and otherwise demonstrated across 60 schools in support of abortion access and gender-affirming care? It's part of a rising tide of activism following the overturn of Roe, organized by @YDSA_ and @GradAction. https://t.co/y4OHadyzW6

An October day of action is the latest sign that a new generation, emboldened by the overturn of Roe, is surging into political organizing.

@amylittlefield @thenation @Harvard_Law "As we were talking, an administrator came over to speak to the students...While assuring the students she was there to protect their right to free speech, the administrator gave a convoluted warning against treading outside the lines of polite dissent."
