@clowneatingpig the other oncologist would also shit talk the kid’s mom saying she only wanted her son on painkillers cuz she couldn’t control him otherwise. meanwhile the kid would literally be crying from the pain. really harrowing stuff.

@clowneatingpig my mom is a oncologist and the other doctors would shit talk this kid who they took off painkillers after chemo cuz they believed he was his faking pain. my mom was the only one willing to listen to him and the mom so she did some scans and turned out the cancer relapsed

Anti-maskers (slackers) were trolling people back in the day too.

If you feel like you're bad at your job and it's making you depressed, just consider that, as the investigation of the recent heist revealed, the password to access the Louvre's videosurveillance system was "Louvre".

In 2002 I was a young Neuroscientist working in 5 stroke wards across the NE. In 3 years I saw one person aged 30 who’d had a stroke. At that time it was seen as a rare occurence. My research was in hemispatial neglect (inattention if you will). Well we need to pay attention now.

liberalism is so dismissive of anything it deems utopian (i.e., not pragmatic, realistic, rational, etc), but it's utopian itself - it imagines itself as a neutral ground from which to critique all other positions, but a neutral ground doesn't exist, so it's a no-place, a utopia

@blablafishcakes I asked Google AI for 2025 paparazzi photos of Belinda Carlisle one month ago. It didn't know that the current year is 2025, it blamed me for it's mistake and then said it was having a hallucination.

The biggest capital outlay ever, for a product that no one will pay for. OpenAI loses ten billion dollars a quarter. There is no path to profitability for subprime AI. These absurd data centers will stand sentinel over the ruins of our fake economy like moai on Easter Island.

It’s telling how many left-leaning people love to call others ā€œstupidā€ and ā€œinsane,ā€ but are uncomfortable using words like evil or immoral to describe them.
