To be fair, he's totally right. The complicity of the national media (read: Washington reporters and the outlets who pay them) in creating the mess we're in today cannot be overstated.

Very much in line with what I've said for years, which is that the central argument of the left AND the right is the same: government does not represent my interests and favors those at the top.
I have a new essay in the New Republic. I used to see things as left versus right. Now I worry about the money at the top. And while it may sound strange, I think this is a hopeful way of looking at the world that opens the door to coalitions that seemed impossible before
