To mark the anniversary, President Otmar D. Wiestler travelled with representatives from science & politics to🇮🇱 to celebrate & deepen scientific cooperation. Helmholtz will continue to be a strong partner for research that transcends borders and connects people through science.

These partnerships are built on mutual trust, excellent research, and shared progress. They show what’s possible when science connects people beyond borders.

For six decades, close scientific ties between Germany and Israel have shaped the international research landscape. Helmholtz is proud of its long-standing partnerships with leading Israeli institutions, such as @WeizmannScience and many others.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮: At the 𝟰𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 – 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, bold ideas and powerful pitches took center stage. A huge thank-you to all participants, speakers, and partners — you’ve shown how research can shape the future.

In the afternoon, participants explored support programs offered by the research organizations, joined a panel discussion with experienced founders, and enjoyed plenty of networking opportunities.

𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝟭 kicked off with an inspiring keynote by Pilar Hernández Pastor, insightful sessions on funding opportunities, and hands-on workshops as part of the “ABC of Founding Sessions.”

Organized by @helmholtz_de, @Fraunhofer, @LeibnizWGL, and @maxplanckpress, dedicated researchers, founders, and investors came together to shape the future of research-based start-ups.
