Volume up. To cleanse your feed, the sounds of nature and a gentle breeze from the green of Northern Thailand. As the intrepid crow flies, Myanmar lies 200 km across increasingly remote river valleys, mountains & tropical forests to the north. Laos is 100 km to the east.

We do it to challenge ourselves. So, whether it’s 1 mile 5K or even just a walk around the block, every step counts. Run, walk or move forwards in any way you can - just move! Let’s make this year's celebration an unforgettable day of positive change. https://t.co/y6MCGOYrOl

Running is so much more than times and numbers. It connects us across borders and divides, to the ground beneath us and more deeply to ourselves. We do it for better physical and mental well-being, for purpose and opportunity, for feelings of freedom, growth and achievement.

‘Ocean with David Attenborough’ is released today on the occasion of his 99th birthday and is the most powerful call to action yet by Sir David. Visually stunning and incredibly impactful, delivered with Sir David’s typical warmth, passion and expertise. This is a must see for

"He thought his happiness was complete when, as he meandered aimlessly along, suddenly he stood by the edge of a full-fed river. Never in his life had he seen a river before—this sleek, sinuous, full-bodied animal, chasing and chuckling, gripping things with a gurgle and leaving

The villages of the #peakdistrict have no flashy theatres, the roads are frequently blocked by sheep, and the phone reception falls over when you go behind t’ big hill. But you can still find silence easily, breathe in air so fresh you can almost touch it, and walk into views

Ravens can also figure out complex puzzles. In this video, one genius bird quickly completed eight stages of a puzzle – in the correct order – using tools such as stones & sticks. Other birds took longer, but they all figured it out in the end. Wow. https://t.co/nufXrWDv9z

Yesterday morning was the most magical I've witnessed so far this year, bar none. The hills and fields shone with a soft, golden, misty light, the birdsong echoed along the lanes, and I spent hours in awe, grinning my biggest grins. At one point I paused on my walk to admire a

One of the most beautiful things about Spring mornings, as the sun just rises and rushes low over the fields, is the way the light picks out every brand new leaf on each tree, as if celebrating their shiny return. It was such a beautiful sight on this little #PeakDistrict lane,

A reminder of a pretty etymology to brighten the day. The ‘daisy’ takes its name from the Old English ‘dæges ēage’, ‘day’s eye’, because it opens its petals at dawn, and closes them again at dusk.

Glowing in the early morning Spring light, this is the hamlet of Miller's Dale, nestled alongside the river and surrounded on all sides by high limestone hills. The water rushed and bubbled through the valley and birds sang out from the trees whose shadows fell on the road, but
