Stuart, one of our new Paramedics was put through his paces with a challenging training scenario covering a broad range of the new skills and procedures he’s learning! It’s a steep learning curve, but he’s upto it!!

The sheep don’t seem phased by the heli popping up in their field!! Todays crew of CCP Keith, Para Stu, Dr Tom & Capt Sam assisted RD56 @x7ljr (responding for @EMICS999 & @EMASNHSTrust) at an incident in Leicestershire - think they’ve all dried off now!!

HM54: The engineering team from ⁦@SloaneHeli⁩ undertook scheduled servicing of our aircraft recently. Safety is always the priority, and the team of 4 engineers inspected every part of the heli to ensure it is ready to support ⁦@EMASNHSTrust⁩ ⁦@OFFICIALWMAS⁩

The first frosty morning of the season!! Dr Naveed, CCP Janet and Capt. John had lovely flying weather. Now CCP Karl and Dr Leon are getting ready for a cold night shift on the RRV. Hats and gloves at the ready!!

If local crews are busy and in the patient's best interest, air ambulance services may cross county borders. This was the case this morning, with our Medic54 DLRAA crew being tasked to a mission in Nottinghamshire alongside EMAS to asses a patient involved in a motorcycle RTC.
