I have just discovered a major DUAB failing with respect to the Purpose Limitation Principle which will have an interpretation to protect the Controller's interests re data sharing. See
Lords consider changes to Data (Use and Access) Bill (UK). Explanatory notes for the Commons amendments (We are getting into the weeds now – don't expect much drama in the Lords next week.). #DUABill #DataBill #dataprotection etc.

DAUB degrades the Purpose Limitation Principle so that it does not meet the requirements set 45 years ago in the CoE Convention No 108, in 1981. This plus Annex 1, Annex 2, rights reduction etc are significant reduction in data subject's protection.
