I’d really like to work on encouraging uptake of more respectful language at clinical meetings. We need to bin some of the old phrases used historically and change the words we use to be more inclusive and person centred. Please could you help me by providing examples in replies

People do really struggle to see how an abscence of experienced #nursing means people don't get an assessment of their needs, recognition of when/what care needs to change or advocacy when things are not going as they should.
@alisonleary1 @carolvorders This is about overstretched budgets. What would deprofessionalising of nurses have to do with that? This should not be happening because each patient needing them will have their own budget and incontinence products.

@HextRachel GP, @amyismall, lost her job six months after becoming sick in April 2020. She spearheaded calls for long COVID to be recognised as an occupational illness. "I feel very bitter and absolutely betrayed. We said very early on that COVID was airborne and no one would listen to us."

@stephlawrence5 @NPAGUK @TheQNI @PaulNVaughan @AcosiaNyanin @Duncan_CNO Thank you Steph. It should not be a battle to be recognised as an advanced practitioner, it is so clear to all working in the community. And to our GP colleagues too. Our equivalent colleagues in the hospital are B7 and 8a.
