Well, the room is filling up, here at #Traumainformednotts . I’m told we are expecting 250. What I can tell you is that the room is buzzing. The confinements caused by Covid are clearly still unwinding for us all.

I loved realising from today’s feedback at #traumainformednotts that my story of a child’s Sea Dragon was effective. I hope he would feel proud to learn how I used the gift of his trust.

I spoke at length today at #traumainformednotts , about the impact of denial & discomfort as factors in resisting trauma-informed practices. It was reassuring to see how often those terms came up in the feedback. I’m going to keep this focus in mind for future talks.

The team at #traumainformednotts were very creative today. They basically bribed people into being sure to submit feedback forms by giving away a set of my books #TigersAndTeddies. And they sweetened the arrangement by asking me to sign them ahead of time. 😀😀
