@vlad_mihalcea @RequestParam As you said, AST could be reused. But the granularity on Query Plan Cache seems to be aligned with the JDBC Query (sqlStrings in HQLQueryPlan) A tradeoff between thoughput and heap usage I guess?..

As always for my backend work, the server is @JuliaLanguage using Mux.jl. The database stuff is SQLStrings and LibPQ.

@joshuayn514 Thats a great example of what Im talking about For example, an SQL API will only accept SQLStrings. To make an SQLString you can use string.Escape(). Theres no way to take input or a value out of a table, and pass it into an SQL api.
